Identifying students’ needs, motivations and long-term vision

Alvaro’s teaching style is based on the identification of students’ needs, motivations and long-term vision. It is crucial to understand what the strengths and motivations of the students are. Then, using those motivations as driver, the student learns the steps to become a self-sufficient musician. Music is a universal language and it doesn’t matter the style or genre the student wants to play, we can learn something from all of them. Alvaro’s wide background in playing different music styles gives the extra needed support here.

Alvaro works as a teacher at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts, located in Nelson, New Zealand.

At the same time, the student will enjoy the learning process.
